bin the binary

i thank all who have opposed the gender binary.

let it fall, like the Berlin Wall. let us celebrate everyone who had a hand in the removal of any one brick.

freedom to go where you want. no expectations of where that will be. no us and them anymore, just us.

it's a liberating, life-affirming opposition. as such, it is naturally warm-hearted, non-aggressive, non-censorious, giving, tolerant, generous. (after all, the people who observe that there does seem to be a fundamental divide in terms of biological bodies do have a point. if science is to refine such ideas, it should be allowed to do so without political pressure.)
